La Vida is a non-profit adoption agency licensed in Pennsylvania. They place children with loving couples and singles living throughout the United States and U.S. citizens living abroad. The agency was founded by and is directed by adoptive parents who personally understand the multitude of emotions that occur during your adoption process.

La Vida has been working with the Chinese government since 1992 and they are one of the largest and most experienced China child placing agencies in the United States. They also have programs in the countries of Colombia and Guatemala, which offer a wonderful alternative for many families.

They provide private consultation in-person or via telephone to share program information with adoptive parents and to answer any questions they may have. They offer DVD to provide families with an opportunity to learn about the international adoption process, prepare for the China adoption experience, and witness the emotions of the joyous experience of meeting a child and completing the adoption. Their DVD program covers many aspects of international adoption including:

- A main program (30 minutes; covering an overview of the international adoption process from China, including interviews with adoptive families and La Vida staff);
- Family snapshots (28 minutes; interviews with families who have successfully adopted from China);
- The paperwork process (10 minutes; summary of the paperwork and approval process);
- The trip to China (21 minutes; filmed during a recent 10-day group adoption trip).
